| Description: | The PSM Resource will have a thorough working knowledge of the PSM program and be the corporate leader of the PSM and RMP program. The position is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining all aspects of the PSM and RMP programs for Bama operations. Resource must remain current in knowledge of regulations and requirements for all aspects of these programs while working thru facilities management to ensure compliance checks and audits are done as prescribed. Keys to success will be the individual’s knowledge of refrigeration systems, the skills needed to maintain, repair and troubleshoot those systems. |
| Duties: | Must be able to work and communicate to all levels of organization and outside agencies.
Collaborate with Maintenance Management and Maintenance personnel to provide reliability to plant refrigeration system equipment.
Using Data to drive plant decisions
Provide training to Maintenance teams in PSM and RMP programs.
Provide training for facilities employees
Frequently assess statistical process control by identifying “common cause” and “special cause” states of all key maintenance & departmental processes through employing a Plan, Do, Study Act methodology
Drive for “One Bama” PSM Program, use best practices from internal and external resources
Understand capitol allocation methodologies
Be cost effective in providing solutions to environmental problems and programs.

| Qualifications: | •Associates Degree or equivalent field experience
•Minimum of 2 years of environmental training or leadership experience
•Experience as a Technical leader within the Food Manufacturing sector; experience within non-union environments
•Must be proficient in the area of ammonia refrigeration system (i.e. safe operation, maintenance, repair, and PSM/RMP requirements)
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
•Proficient in use of AutoCAD for drawing and flow diagrams
•Additional experience in the maintenance field, with experience in repairs, troubleshooting and rebuilding of equipment and machinery in a food-manufacturing environment.
•Experience and/or training in computer controlled manufacturing process system
•Computerized Maintenance Management System Software
•Understands Predictive Maintenance concepts and can interpret PdM findings to ensure appropriate repair are planned and executed
•Available for occasional travel to support technical development or other company needs
•Available for working any shift in a 24/7 food manufacturing operation
•Able to defuse conflict in emotionally charged situations
