|Description:||The Operations Manager, as part of the leadership team at Bama Frozen Dough, is responsible for production across all production lines. This position drives production strategy, focus, and alignment within the Production team and across the entire plant in a 24/7 operation working 12-hour shifts. This position is responsible and accountable for direct supervision of the Production Department, including all policy and rule enforcement. This position is responsible for providing leadership in achieving and sustaining a work environment in which safety is at the forefront of all activities, while controlling direct costs, meeting customer expectations and ensuring adherence to all quality systems and processes. This position has direct supervisory accountabilities for both hourly and salaried employees and reports to the Plant Manager. This position interfaces and works collaboratively with all functional areas including quality, sanitation, maintenance, supply chain and logistics to assure customer, regulatory and internal requirements are met.|

Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Operations Manager will provide support in leading the facility and operating crews in a way that contributes to a union-free environment where people feel wildly important. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of helping team members grow and develop by effectively coaching and modeling behaviors that contribute to the facility’s overall success.
Position accountabilities include:
•Coach, mentor and develop both hourly and salaried Production team members.
•Provide standardized work to deliver manufacturing reliability through documented process and effective communication.
•Actively looks for opportunities to drive out cost and deliver superior products and services consistently and efficiently.
•Employ a balanced leadership approach to lead, supervise and motivate plant personnel by setting clear expectations and driving accountability.
•Continuously evaluate, improve and increase overall effectiveness of production systems and processes.
|Qualifications:||Position qualifications include:|
•BS degree in related discipline
•Minimum of 5 years of related experience with progressively more responsible duties within a food manufacturing facility.
•Ability to provide standardized work to deliver manufacturing reliability through documented process and effective communication.
•Understanding of Quality Management Systems
•Understanding of statistics and application toward problem solving, process capability and online control.
•Ability to present to various levels within the organization with clarity and direction.
•Computer skills within MS family of products and internet capable.
•Ability to interact with internal and external customers.
•Ability to develop, implement and control Production budget.
•Proven track record of effectively leading, supervising and motivating a team.
•Understanding of safety requirements with demonstrated success in achieving and maintaining an accident free environment.
•Ability to provide direction and guidance to plant team and display leadership in directing all aspects of production, while teaching people and building organizational capabilities.
